Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

To design, develop, and implement scalable software applications and cloud-based solutions, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will manage data integration and analytics, optimize application performance, and ensure data security while working remotely with occasional travel to local offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using industry-adopted languages and frameworks
• Provide technical consultation and direction to business and product teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and software architecture
• Mentor team members and drive product testing practices to ensure high-quality deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• 6 years of experience in software development and application management using relevant programming languages
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based solution design and deployment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and PySpark, as well as database management with SQL and NoSQL
• 2 years of experience participating in Agile teams and delivering iterative improvements
