Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership for a team, the remote Lead Software Engineer will focus on building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction for cloud-native applications and distributed systems
- Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance
- Deliver scalable software solutions while managing hands-on development tasks
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with production applications
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express, TypeScript, React, Redux, and React Native
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar database technologies
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
