Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will build scalable services, APIs, and SDKs for a digital merchandising platform while driving architecture decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance advertising product offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable services and APIs for the ads platform
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to improve advertising products through data analysis
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, setting goals and providing performance feedback

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-centered team
• 2+ years in a lead or people-management role with a proven track record of team success
• Experience with AdTech systems, particularly in areas like ad serving and real-time decisioning
• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science, including data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in at least one system language, preferably Go, and familiarity with various database types
