Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance system performance and member experience, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will analyze legacy systems, recommend modernization strategies, and develop software solutions while working remotely three days a week and commuting to Chicago, IL for the remaining days.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze legacy system architecture and performance metrics to recommend modernization strategies
- Develop software solutions that optimize member experience and system stability
- Lead the transformation of outdated applications using Agile methodology and Azure DevOps
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8 years of related experience in software engineering
- 5 years of experience with C#, .NET Framework, MVC, and RESTful APIs
- 1 year of experience with Symitar API and financial industry platforms
- Experience in leading system upgrades and collaborating with cross-functional teams
