Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact backend product team, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will design, test, and deliver advanced solutions for the List and Services domain, focusing on high-performance APIs and collaborating closely with product managers to shape strategic roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of complex software solutions, ensuring they meet defined requirements for speed, security, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new products and services, leveraging data for innovative design decisions
• Mentor engineers and elevate coding standards through technical guidance and conducting PR reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 6-10 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience supervising junior colleagues for 7-12 months
• Proficiency in Java, C#, and Python, along with experience in PostgreSQL and Kafka
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows and collaboration tools like Git/GitHub and JIRA/Confluence
