Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of backend integration solutions, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will enhance REST and SOAP APIs, develop scalable integration components, and resolve complex production issues while mentoring engineering teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems, providing innovative solutions using the latest technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver products that align with strategic business goals
• Provide technical leadership on projects and serve as an escalation point for production outages

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 9+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on backend integrations
• Expert level experience in developing Java services in an enterprise environment
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, including response formats in JSON and XML
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes service and hybrid cloud environments
