Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the technical vision and execution of a digital healthcare platform, the full-time salaried Lead Software Engineer will design and build scalable software, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, and mentor engineers while working remotely or from Atlanta, GA, or NYC, NY.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, and full-stack applications using Python and React/Next.js
• Serve as the technical lead for cross-functional initiatives, mentoring engineers and establishing engineering best practices
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with expertise in backend or full-stack application development
• Proficiency in Python and modern backend technologies, with experience in designing scalable APIs and cloud-native applications
• Strong experience in building frontend applications using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Proven experience with AI/LLM technologies and integrating them into production applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
