Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will ensure the technical health and quality of AI-powered features, drive innovation in the software development lifecycle, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the technical health and quality of existing and new AI-powered features, aligning with product goals and maintaining high engineering standards
• Contribute to sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives, ensuring high-quality releases and coordinating sprint reviews and demos
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define product features, manage project scope, and align on priorities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full stack Software Development experience, including design patterns and data structures
• Proficiency with Django, Python, Postgres databases, and AWS ECS, with expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including Kanban, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Experience incorporating AI technologies, such as LLMs, into existing software products
• Proficient at using AI tools and prompt engineering methods to address software engineering challenges
