Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will manage software engineering activities across Payments, Money Movement, and Information Reporting platforms in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee architecture, design, development, testing, releases, and production support for software engineering activities
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions while providing architectural leadership and mentoring distributed teams
• Drive delivery of cloud-native applications using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security, or Engineering, or High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience
• Proven experience designing and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js
