Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will develop and maintain complex software systems for the MQ-25 Vehicle Management System, focusing on operational flight programs and software verification.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, and designs for software systems
• Lead the integration of complex software components and oversee the development of software verification plans and test procedures
• Provide technical leadership for software projects and manage supplier activities while mentoring team members

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or 15+ years of equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in developing embedded real-time software
• 3+ years of programming experience in Ada and C#
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering requirements verification
• 5+ years of experience leading teams for embedded software projects
