Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and technical direction for scalable AWS/Node.js applications, the contract-to-hire Lead Software Engineer will design and implement end-to-end solutions while integrating GenAI capabilities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and own solutions using Node.js, React/Next.js, and AWS services
• Drive engineering best practices, including code quality and CI/CD processes
• Mentor engineers and lead Agile ceremonies while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Node.js and TypeScript development
• Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency in React and JavaScript for building scalable applications
• Experience with GenAI solutions and modern observability practices
• Demonstrated leadership skills in delivering high-traffic, consumer-facing applications
