Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable reporting solutions, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on architecture, technical decision-making, and cross-team collaboration while leveraging Java, Python, and AI/ML technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Architects and designs systems and services with broad impact while leading technical decision-making for major features
• Drives cross-team collaboration to align technical solutions with business goals and establishes best practices in architecture and coding
• Mentors engineers and supports the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of AI/ML applications, ensuring reliability and scalability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong technical background in .NET, RESTful APIs, and cloud services
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• 2+ years of experience in designing and integrating production-grade AI/ML systems and LLM-based applications
• Hands-on experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot throughout the software development lifecycle
