Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership to a team, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will develop data products using Golang and Python, write SQL queries, deploy applications to AWS, and oversee the integration and documentation of software solutions, with the flexibility to work remotely one or more days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of data products on AWS, utilizing tools such as EKS, EMR, and S3
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data exploration and create dashboards using Looker
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of software solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Seven years of experience in developing data products using Golang and Python
• Five years of experience with SQL queries in Clickhouse and Snowflake
• Two years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Proficiency in application monitoring and alerting using Grafana
