Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will work on ad tech systems, optimize databases, and architect scalable C++ applications, with the flexibility to work remotely one or more days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software for ad tech systems, focusing on data indexing engines and audience targeting pipelines
• Optimize relational and NoSQL databases through efficient schema design and query crafting
• Architect and develop low-latency C++ applications on Linux, ensuring high throughput and system reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Seven years of experience in software development for ad tech systems
• Five years of experience with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Proficiency in optimizing relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Aurora, and DynamoDB
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting systems using Prometheus and Grafana
