Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the Back-End team of CatalyX, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will provide strong engineering leadership, contribute to the product codebase, and uphold high technical standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the technical delivery of CatalyX Blockchain Manager and contribute to the product codebase through implementation and code reviews
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, ensuring high standards for code quality, testing, and delivery pace
• Break down product and client requirements into clear technical tasks, estimates, and a realistic sprint plan

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer in a globally distributed development environment
• Proven experience leading development teams while remaining an active, hands-on contributor
• Excellent programming skills and experience in Java
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL)
