Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer in a remote contract role, this position focuses on designing, building, and scaling marketing technology platforms to enhance personalized customer experiences through hands-on technical leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex marketing technology and customer engagement solutions
• Architect scalable, event-driven systems that support real-time communications and customer journeys
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack and distributed systems expertise
• Deep hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms, including Adobe Campaign or similar tools
• Advanced proficiency in Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python
• Experience building cloud-native applications and data pipelines within Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of event-driven architectures and modern software design patterns
