Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading platform modernization and operational excellence initiatives, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will manage critical Pharmacy technologies, including EnterpriseRx and DevOps platforms, while collaborating with engineering teams in a hybrid work environment based in Lakeland, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and modernization of Pharmacy platform solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring, overseeing architecture reviews and engineering standards
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices and automation across Pharmacy systems, optimizing performance and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or related experience
• 5+ years of experience administering Oracle WebLogic, WildFly, and/or JBoss application servers
• 5+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting and automation
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based solutions
