Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test, and debug software systems, while serving as a technical expert and participating in the full development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document functional, system, and data requirements from stakeholders
• Develop and maintain internal applications using various programming languages, performing testing and debugging as needed
• Research new technologies and provide technical support and training to less experienced peers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Seven years of software development experience required
• Minimum of five years of IT experience with general development technologies such as C#, SQL, or comparable languages
• Experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends
