Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer for a contract position working remotely during PST hours, who will design and implement backend integrations for Zip (Intake to Contract) systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support backend integrations for Zip and related procurement workflows
• Develop scalable and secure integration solutions between Zip and internal enterprise systems
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements through automation and systems integration

Required qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend engineering and enterprise systems integration
• Experience with Zip Intake-to-Procure (I2C) implementations or integrations
• Proven ability to build integrations for procurement or workflow platforms such as Coupa, SAP, or Ariba
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) and procurement workflows
• Experience working with APIs and system-to-system integrations
