Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer for a 12-month remote contract role, responsible for designing and implementing backend integrations for Zip (Intake to Contract) and enhancing procurement workflows through scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support backend integrations for Zip and related procurement workflows
• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to analyze integration requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure the reliability of data flows across platforms

Required qualifications

• Experience with Zip Intake-to-Procure (I2C) implementations or integrations
• Strong background in backend engineering and enterprise systems integration
• Proven experience with procurement, intake, or workflow platforms such as Coupa, SAP, or Ariba
• Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
• Ability to analyze existing processes and recommend streamlined technical solutions
