Job Summary
Leading a high-performing development team, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will oversee the creation and scaling of robust commercial software while actively participating in all stages of product development within the SAP Business Network.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a development team to build and scale software solutions
- Take an active role in product development phases, from design to deployment and iteration
- Collaborate with the Team Architect to translate product roadmap features into technical designs
Required qualifications
- At least 7+ years of experience in web-based application development and team coordination
- Proven experience in leading software development teams to launch commercial-grade software
- Mastery of Java, Spring Boot, and web service development within the SAP BTP/CAP environment
- Extensive experience with web APIs and API-first design principles
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
