Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer for a remote full-time position to design and develop technical solutions for Corporate Credit Card services, lead SCRUM teams, and drive domain-wide change initiatives while ensuring the stability of mission-critical systems.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business and architects to create solutions that meet user needs in functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Lead and mentor tech leads overseeing SCRUM teams, providing coaching and troubleshooting support
- Oversee proactive maintenance of existing applications to ensure stability and scalability as the business grows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
- Intermediate to strong experience in designing or modifying modern microservice-based systems
- Advanced knowledge of Java 11+, Spring and Spring Boot frameworks, REST, and APIs
- Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks, as well as git
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies
