Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development and delivery of industry-leading FICO Score products, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will design, implement, and optimize high-performance services using Java, C++, Groovy, and Python while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and support low-latency services for B2B Scores projects, ensuring high throughput and reliability
- Contribute to architecture and DevOps strategy using AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes for operational excellence
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and project ownership, while collaborating with senior engineers on complex solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong coding skills in Java, C, C++, or .Net/C#
- Experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and database programming, including SQL
