Lead Software Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the highest quality products, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement solutions for quality assurance and testing processes, particularly in test automation, while leading cross-functional teams and contractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain a test automation framework for ACT's software product suite and internal systems
- Conduct code reviews and manage Scrum team execution, including planning work across sprints
- Mentor engineers in implementing the test automation framework and contribute to strategic planning for automation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field
- Seven years of progressive IT experience, including coding in JAVA or Python and experience with test automation tools
- Proficiency in CI/CD automation using Jenkins and performance/load testing tools like JMeter
- Experience with Agile development environments and automation testing of UI features using Selenium
- Strong understanding of relational and no-SQL databases, version control tools, and application lifecycle management tools
