Lead Software Engineer - AWS/Python

Job Summary

To support the Payments Integrity organization, the full-time Lead Software Engineer - AWS/Python will provide technical leadership in designing and developing enterprise-scale applications, leveraging AWS and Python, in a 100% remote contract role with potential for contract-to-hire.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and provide technical guidance to a team of software engineers
• Drive software architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices across development initiatives
• Mentor software engineers through code reviews and technical leadership while ensuring compliance with healthcare security standards

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Python
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing applications on AWS
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead on large software development initiatives
• Strong experience in designing enterprise-grade distributed systems and building APIs and microservices
