Lead Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Leading quality engineering strategy and execution, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer in Test will design scalable automation frameworks and validate complex AI agent behaviors across next-generation AI-powered applications and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression test suites for UI, API, backend, and AI-driven applications
• Lead quality engineering initiatives for Agentic AI systems, including workflows and distributed orchestration platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development or Software Engineer in Test roles, with 5+ years in automation framework development using JavaScript/TypeScript or Java
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Postman
• 2+ years of experience testing AI-powered applications and orchestration frameworks
• Experience working in cloud-native and containerized environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
