Lead Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

Driving quality for assigned suppliers, the full-time Lead Sourcing Specialist will implement quality plans, select and qualify suppliers, and manage supplier audits and performance improvements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality plans for assigned suppliers, ensuring compliance and driving improvement initiatives
• Conduct supplier qualifications, audits, and performance monitoring to assist suppliers in achieving industrial standards
• Utilize analytical thinking to propose solutions and manage small projects while acting as a resource for less experienced colleagues

Required qualifications

• Advanced experience in Sourcing & Supplier Quality Engineering
• Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using technical experience
• Experience in project management and executing programs
• Strong understanding of supplier qualification processes and performance metrics
