Lead Strategic Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely across Canada with availability during EST/EDT hours, the full-time salaried Lead Strategic Financial Analyst will tackle complex business questions, build financial models, and improve forecasting while collaborating with senior leadership and various business teams.
Key responsibilities
- Take on complex, open-ended questions and bring structure to ambiguity across multiple business areas
- Build financial models and analyses to support strategic questions and business decisions
- Own the monthly and quarterly finance rhythm, partnering closely with business teams on reviews and reporting
Required qualifications
- Strong financial modeling skills, including driver-based models and three-statement analysis
- Experience with SQL or equivalent querying tools and BI platforms
- Ability to challenge assumptions and build trusted relationships with business partners
- Experience in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models
- Strong business curiosity with a proven ability to analyze financial data deeply
