Lead Structural Engineer - PE Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer - Renewables.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer of Record for renewable structural engineering projects and calculates loads for solar and battery storage projects
• Performs structural foundation design and reviews geotechnical reports to inform design deliverables
• Mentors other engineers and participates in client coordination calls to communicate design recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Civil and/or Structural Professional Engineer (PE or SE) registration required
• Minimum of 7+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in utility-scale solar projects
• Proficiency in LPile, APile, or equivalent foundation analysis software
• In-depth knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, and ACI 318 required
