Lead Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Serving as the technical lead for the enterprise Microsoft 365 Messaging platform, the full-time remote Lead Systems Administrator will manage the architecture, administration, governance, and security of messaging infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and email security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the administration and engineering of Microsoft Exchange Online and related messaging services
• Design and implement enterprise email security solutions using Proofpoint technologies
• Monitor messaging health and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address email threats and incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, particularly Exchange Online
• Extensive experience with Proofpoint Email Protection and enterprise messaging environments
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Deep understanding of email authentication technologies such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
