Lead Systems Architect

Job Summary

Driving system architecture and application strategy for semiconductor solutions in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market, the full-time Lead Solutions Systems Architect will define integration methods for utility-scale energy storage solutions while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve system-level architectures for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including power conversion systems and inverter topologies
• Translate customer requirements and market trends into scalable solution roadmaps while partnering with Product Management and R&D
• Serve as the technical authority during customer engagements and develop reference architectures and technical collateral

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and semiconductor applications
• Strong expertise in system-level power conversion architectures and semiconductor technologies including Si, SiC, and GaN
• Experience collaborating with customers, Product Management, and R&D
• Demonstrated success influencing technical direction with OEMs or strategic customers
