Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer - INS (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the Facets system for optimal performance and scalability, including system upgrades and security measures
• Support project management as a technical lead, estimating costs and collaborating with clients to define system requirements
• Lead software design and development teams, translating user needs into technical requirements and mentoring junior developers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 8 years of experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications
• 15+ years of software design and development experience preferred
• 5+ years of knowledge of Cognizant Facets and Windows Server OS
• Basic understanding of Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent database technology
