Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer - Underwriting (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document software applications related to underwriting systems
• Gather requirements and conduct advanced software analysis to develop solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system scope, manage updates, and lead meetings on software needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
• 8 years of experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems
• ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred (to be obtained within 180 days of starting)
• Experience with underwriting rating systems and familiarity with relevant business processes preferred
• Proficiency in system engineering tools and programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, and .NET Framework
