Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, the full-time Lead Systems Engineer will provide technical guidance, support data center operations, and ensure system reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the design and maintenance of physical infrastructure and network layout for data centers
• Implement standards and guidelines to ensure adequate capacity for corporate computing needs
• Provide technical support and automation capabilities for compute resources across public and private cloud services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience managing data center resources and virtual hosting platforms
• Advanced experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and container-based systems
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization concepts, including private and public cloud technologies
• 3+ years of experience programming or building automation, with a preference for Agile concepts
