Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Managing on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure services, the full-time Lead Systems Engineer will oversee virtual infrastructure, operating systems, and security patching while leading a team to ensure optimal performance and scalability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Leads analysis and implementation of design solutions for on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure
• Conducts proactive performance monitoring, maintenance activities, and ensures platform stability through patch management
• Mentors team members and serves as a technical escalation point for on-call support

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma with 10 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience leading a team of Systems Engineers is preferred
• Expertise with virtualization technology and cloud providers such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Strong scripting skills are required
• Ability to provide on-call support and perform after-hours maintenance activities
