Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of virtualization infrastructure, the full-time Lead Systems Engineer will provide technical support and guidance while working remotely to ensure operational efficiency and security of systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the design and maintenance of data center infrastructure and network layout
• Implement standards and guidelines to ensure adequate capacity for corporate computing needs
• Provide technical support and automation capabilities for compute resources across multiple operating systems and hardware technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience managing data center resources and virtual hosting platforms
• Advanced experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and container-based systems
• Advanced skills in automation and configuration management solutions across various operating systems
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization concepts, including private and public cloud technologies
