Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical execution of the Rock Island Arsenal Increase Access Prototype, the full-time Lead Systems Engineer will manage overall technical planning, systems integration, and requirements management while ensuring successful delivery of an integrated force protection solution.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate technical activities across all workstreams throughout the prototype lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance to engineering, software, communications, and cybersecurity teams
• Oversee system-of-systems integration and ensure interoperability of technologies and operational workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years or Master's degree with 10-13 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems engineering leadership on complex DoD programs
• Proven system-of-systems integration and multi-vendor interoperability experience
• Operational test and evaluation experience
• Current US citizenship and secret clearance
