Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Tax Preparer to oversee tax operations and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review cycle for business tax returns, ensuring compliance and quality
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex tax cases and guide the team through resolutions
• Coach and mentor team members on technical tax issues, enhancing their expertise and confidence

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tax filing preparation for businesses, specifically with forms 5472, 1065, and 1120
• 3+ years in a Supervisor or Team Lead capacity, with experience in coaching tax professionals
• Deep knowledge of US tax law applicable to complex scenarios
• Experience in designing or enforcing SOPs and quality standards in a tax environment
• Proficiency with ticketing and CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
