Lead Taxonomist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Taxonomist, Taxonomy Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead taxonomy governance for eServices and expand the role to an enterprise-wide position
• Act as a backup and additional taxonomist to the primary taxonomist
• Collaborate with stakeholders including ontology governance, product management, and IT developers

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in taxonomy management and governance in a large organization
• Proven record of creating taxonomies from business requirements
• Experience in researching, identifying, and documenting requirements
• Understanding of content management and development, as well as search and retrieval tools
• Basic understanding of ontologies and familiarity with SKOS standards is desirable
