Lead Technical Architect

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for the ESI.mil website and Content Management System, the full-time Lead Technical Architect will oversee architecture, design, modernization, and cybersecurity compliance while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture, system design, and implementation strategies for website and CMS changes
• Support continuous operations by troubleshooting application issues, safeguarding data integrity, and preventing service degradation
• Guide secure software development practices and ensure compliance with applicable Federal security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading architecture and implementation of Federal IT or web application systems
• Strong background in secure software development and application modernization
• Experience with cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and web design practices
• Experience with agile development and release planning processes
