Lead Technical Architect

Job Summary

Leading the post-sales practice for Converged Packet and Optical Technology, the full-time remote Lead Technical Architect will manage a team of engineers, develop complex routing and optical designs for critical infrastructure projects, and serve as a subject matter expert to drive sales and technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams of engineers, consultants, and architects in the development of repeatable solutions
• Research, design, and develop complex routing and optical designs tailored to customer architecture needs
• Collaborate with internal management and vendors to deliver relevant solution bundles and maintain major vendor certifications

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in a Service Provider environment
• 5+ years in a Consultant or Architect role with multiple industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE)
• Expertise in designing and implementing Service Provider solutions using technologies such as Cisco, Nokia, and Ciena
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including BGP, MPLS, and DWDM
• Bachelor's degree preferred
