Lead Technical Audio Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Technical Audio Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in planning, organizing, creating, implementing, and maintaining audio-related systems and content
• Ensure alignment with the audio director and oversee the work of other team members
• Coordinate technical audio design outsourcing and mentor team members

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in AAA technical audio
• At least 1 AAA project shipped in a technical design role
• Advanced understanding and experience of UE5, Blueprints, Wwise, and technical audio systems
• Strong knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools and Reaper, as well as sample editors and plug-ins
• Strong understanding of theoretical and practical audio engineering principles & techniques
