Lead Technical Consultant - Databricks

Job Summary

Leading the technical design and delivery of data engineering solutions, the full-time Lead Technical Consultant - Databricks will manage client-facing projects using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, focusing on solution design, development, and team mentorship in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of Databricks workstreams, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Design and build scalable data pipelines and lakehouse solutions using Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake
• Guide and mentor team members while collaborating with clients and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality project outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in technical consulting, data engineering, or related technology roles
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Databricks platform
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark/PySpark, and data pipeline development
• Experience integrating Databricks with major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP
