Job Summary
Leading the design and evolution of scalable API platform solutions, the full-time Lead Technical Staff API Platform will provide technical leadership, influence architectural practices, and drive complex initiatives in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable and secure enterprise platform solutions across multiple products
- Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for key API Platform capabilities, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability
- Establish and champion an API-first engineering methodology, promoting consistency and quality across API offerings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience with large-scale enterprise solutions
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Deep understanding of API design, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture
- Experience designing AWS infrastructure for production web services and using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
