Lead Technology Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as the senior technical lead in a hybrid remote environment, the Lead Technology Specialist will manage the architecture, development, and enhancement of the Department of the Navy Research Protections Information Technology Management System (RPITMS), providing guidance throughout the software development lifecycle and overseeing the implementation of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning, architecture, and implementation efforts for RPITMS while providing direction to development teams
• Design and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online, including complex workflows
• Analyze business requirements and design scalable system architectures, supporting migration and integration initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience leading development of management information systems
• Minimum three (3) years in a technical lead or supervisory role
• Experience developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience administering SharePoint environments and leading software development lifecycle activities
