Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the assessment, selection, development, and maintenance of clinical terminologies in information systems
• Lead terminology resources to ensure quality and standards compliance
• Support VA programs with expert clinical terminology consultation and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or an equivalent clinical specialty
• 10 years of experience in terminology development and implementation
• Strong understanding of clinical information modeling and interoperability frameworks
• Knowledge of federal policies and regulatory requirements related to health data standards
