Lead Terminologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Terminologist - Healthcare Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the team providing authoritative guidance for terminology development and implementation efforts
• Analyze the impact and effectiveness of clinical standards and terminologies for implementation in clinical information systems
• Provide clinical terminology expertise and support for various projects within the Department of Veterans Affairs and external partners

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or equivalent clinical specialty
• 10 years' experience in terminology development and implementation
• Proven ability to lead and manage large or complex projects with federal agencies or contractors
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions
• MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
