Lead Transient Analysis Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Lead Transient Analysis Engineer will perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses for Boiling Water Reactors (BWR), engage in customer-facing opportunities, and contribute to innovative automation methods, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead technical evaluations and analyses related to Anticipated Operational Occurrences and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses
• Deliver high-quality products in compliance with customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
• Prepare and present complex technical reports and provide engineering expertise and mentoring

Required qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
• At least 7 years of relevant nuclear experience
• Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
• Fundamental knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
• Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information
