Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Lead Transient Analysis Engineer will perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses for Boiling Water Reactors (BWR), engage in customer-facing opportunities, and contribute to innovative automation methods, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead technical evaluations and analyses related to Anticipated Operational Occurrences and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses
- Deliver high-quality products in compliance with customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare and present complex technical reports and provide engineering expertise and mentoring
Required qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
- At least 7 years of relevant nuclear experience
- Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
- Fundamental knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
- Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information
