Lead Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Transmission Line Engineer 2 - Grid.

Key Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range
• Mentor and train less experienced design team members
• Prepare reports and studies that present technical information clearly and concisely

Required Qualifications

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 12 or more years of transmission design experience
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software
• Experience preparing scopes of work and developing conceptual designs for transmission lines
• Knowledge of engineering standards including NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI
