Lead Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

To lead design efforts for transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 765kV, the full-time salaried Lead Transmission Line Engineer will mentor team members, coordinate design activities, and prepare technical reports while ensuring compliance with specifications and client requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design transmission lines and ensure adherence to engineering standards and client specifications
• Mentor and train junior design team members while performing independent reviews of their work
• Prepare clear and concise reports and studies that meet client requirements and company formats

Required qualifications:

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 12 years of transmission design experience, including work on lines from 69kV to 500kV
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software
• Experience in preparing scopes of work and developing conceptual designs
• Knowledge of engineering standards such as NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI
